Typical Uses
These kelly green graduation gowns are called Keepers. These caps and gowns are made from polyester fabric. Ideal for single use or as a souvenir during a school commencement ceremony. Usually used by everything from elementary schools, to middle schools, all the way through to community colleges and four year colleges and universities. Fabric Description
Lightweight fabric, shrink resistant, mildew resistant, and quick drying. Also strong, resistant to stretching, most chemicals, and abrasion. Reliably resilient and crisp when wet or dry. Retains heat-set pleats and creases. Washable in ordinary washers and dryers, though we do not recommend you do so many times as they are not intended for long-term use. These gowns can fade from long sun exposure.
Tassel and Year-Date
The tassel includes a metallic year, called a tassel drop or signet. We carry the current year, most prior years going back about ten years, and sometimes the next future year. We can't make a special tassel-drop, and all tassel drops are pulled from our stock and not cast on-site.
This Kelly Green Color
The color is listed as Kelly. We offer two variations on green shades, this one and hunter. If you are looking for a dark green, we suggest you go with the hunter (see link below).
Shades of green include: Viridian, Turquoise, Spring, Sap, Pear, Olive, Moss, Malachite, Light Green, Fern, Cobalt, Celadon, Asparagus, Bright Green, Chartreuse, Emerald, Jade, Lime, Mint, Myrtle, Olive Drab, Pine, Sea Green, Terre verte and Verdigris.
