We offer two types of Masters Gowns (also known as Master's robe or graduate robes). Our best and longest lasting style is the Professional or Faculty Masters Regalia, made for faculty members or graduates looking for a long term and durable set of academic regalia that lasts many years. Our newest line is the Verona Student Master's Regalia, made for graduating students or people looking for an appropriate short term graduation gown at an inexpensive, low price.
Professional Master's Gown
A faithful interpretation of a design literally hundreds of years old, the professional Master's Gown is a top notch faculty-quality professional robe from Academic Cap and Gown. If you are a high school, college, or university faculty member, educational professional, graduate who wants the best, or school looking for regalia to rent or lend to graduating students year after year, this is the robe for you.
This Professional style offers offset plackets with solid brass zippers, french seams at the point where sleeves meet
gown body, and yokes with Pellon. This high quality masters gown will outshine everyone else. If purchased along with a matching tam or mortarboard and combined with a fine masters hood, your Academic Regalia will look great at any college or university commencement ceremony. These gowns come in one of two different fabric choices, and in a variety of colors. Prices vary depending on fabric and quantity purchased, and range from as low as $82.75 (in large quantities of Seville fabric) to as high as $151.75 (for a single Islander gown). Verona Master's Cap and Gown
Our Verona style is a more functional, basic pattern. The fabric features a more adult-looking matte black or royal blue (your choice) sheen to it instead of the shiny one on our Keeper line of souvenir gowns. Meant for student graduates, teachers in their first few years on the job, and associate or assistant professors waiting a couple of years before buying a professional set of regalia. Verona Master's Regalia is a decent alternative to hold you over while you wait for the time when you can afford a more durable professional set.
This Verona robe is different than our Keeper style souvenir gown, in that it uses a pleated front for more room in the design and a better fit. We also include Pellon-grade interlining, reinforcing the yoke (upper portion near the collar) for longer wear. We extended the bottom hem to a full inch, offering more balance and better hang from extra weight at the bottom. Finally, as mentioned above, the Verona fabric is a superior fabric to our Keeper line of polyester, with a matte finish, and more durability in the washing machine. You can safely wash these robes, and they should last for several years.
